It was the year 1981 when OntoArte started off in Perugia with the first official exhibition set up at the Rocca Paolina. Thirty years later, after appointments in the most prestigious seats in cities like Rome, Naples, Venice, Milan, Brasilia, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, São Paulo and Berlin, OntoArte comes back "home" with a solo exhibition of Maestro Antonio Meneghetti held right in Perugia in the Palazzo dei Priori.

The event took place under the aegis of the Cultural Heritage, the Umbria Region, the Perugia Province and the Assisi Municipality. In the occasion of the opening ceremony, an introductory conference entitled "The contemporary art's crisis and Ontoarte" took place at the Sala de' Notari, with speeches - apart from the Maestro Meneghetti - by art historians like Federica Zalabra (Supervision of art and history heritage of Umbria) and Tatiana Karitonova (Saint Petersburg Hermitage Museum). Fifty paintings exposed, together with Murano crystals and Deruta ceramics, wood and glazed metal sculptures: an exhibition made of unique pieces only, open until 15th December.

To OntoArte, defined by the President of the International Academy of Modern Art, avv. De Benedetta, as a "philosophical movement applied to living art", are dedicated throughout the world 8 permanent galleries, from Kiev to Beijing passing through Trevi, the heart of one of the native lands of that Humanism and Renaissance in which the cultural and philosophical foundations of OntoArte itself are laid.
