What is it?

The Ontopsychological residence is one of the educational activities envisaged by the Ontopsychological method. It aims at providing a total, full-immersion formative experience, and usually lasts between 3 and 7 days. Great attention is paid to the choice of the place and structures where the activities are carried out, as they need to provide an ecobiological environment for the participants, which may number from 15 to 50.

The figure of the trainer (or trainers) is an important aspect of the experience; he must be a mature individual in terms of experience, health, economic and social fulfilment, knowledge of Ontopsychology and of autonomous means and capacities.

The residence has three formative aims:

1. Developing managerial creativity;
2. Authentication and development of the leader or potential leader;
3. Historical and practical evolution of the leader in any field of application - economics, politics, science, art, management (CEO).

Through the application of the Ontopsychological technique to the formation of leaders, it becomes possible to substantially and precisely verify the situation of all the participants in the residence. This enables the participants to ascertain whether their "production of life" and achievements do in fact conform to their functionality, well-being and specific satisfaction.

The precise object of the training is the leader's lifestyle and functionality. This is enhanced through the comprehension and satisfaction of his spheres of operation - namely: individual, family, affects, collaborators, sector of operation and province.

When this functionality is lacking, the residence makes it possible to identify the details, dysfunctions or circumstances that prevent this highly functional "unity of action". Once these critical points have been singled out, they are carefully analysed, in order to give precise and simple directions for the achievement of the expected optimal solutions.

The Ontopsychological residence always combines the theoretical approach with practical - economic or political - aspects, so that the participants can develop a secure command of managerial practice.
