qualifies as:

Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council
of the United Nations. Headquarters: Rome, Moscow,

On June 8, 1999 , the documentation submitted by the International Ontopsychology Association was discussed by a commission of representatives of the countries in the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC). Official supervisors, representing countries from all parts of the world, took part in the meeting. After studying the documentation presented by the IOA, each expressed his considerations. The vote resulted in a unanimous agreement.
The IOA is currently one of the non-political, scientific, cultural, and non-lucrative organizations that have Consultative Status with the ECOSOC. The ECOSOC acknowledges the right of these associations to express their point of view on economic and social issues concerning this planet, and trusts the technical knowledge and special experience that validates their contribution.
The NGO commission has a hierarchy on six levels. The most important consultative levels are the general and the special . The UN not only request but are also expected to take into account the points of view expressed by NGOs.
The activities of the International Ontopsychology Association have been considered highly important for the social development of mankind, justifying its direct access to the level of special consultative status.
