Objectives and Activities

The main objective of the Association's activities is the realisation of training courses and events aimed at improving the efficiency of leaders in all operative fields. It is possible to obtain this result by cultivating each individual's potential through a specific and verified training process. We understand leadership as active intuition in providing solutions for the collective. The aim of the courses in managerial psychology organised by the Association is that of developing the participants' entrepreneurial intelligence, that is, their capacity to focus on practical successful actions within their operational sector while also fulfilling their real responsibility in the development of the local community.

The IOA's main activities are:

  • Promoting and organizing specialization and advanced training courses in Ontopsychological science, notably the Summer University of Ontopsychology.

  • Planning, promoting and organizing conferences, conventions, meetings and seminars addressing the operative leaders of the entrepreneurial, social, political and artistic world.

  • Organizing international and world congresses of Ontopsychology for its diffusion and interdisciplinary exchange.

  • Organizing collaboration, affiliation and diffusion programs with public, national, regional and local bodies, whether governmental or not, which recognize the rights of man, his social well being and his integral evolution.

  • Planning, collaborating and organizing affiliations and conventions with institutions, associations and societies, which have analogous objectives with the association and that operate in the national, European and worldwide field, such as: F.O.I.L. S.r.l. (Fostering Ontopsychological Interdisciplinary Leadership skills), the FEDER MASTER Association (Italian Isomaster and Leaderservice Federation) and ARTEL S.r.l. (Agency for the Renewal of Eco-biological Tourism Lizori).

  • Creation of a library of the Association's books, specialized and didactical, in addition to those of general content. Creation of multimedia libraries both of texts and of images, such as video, photography and promotional films. Realisation and promotion of periodicals, publications, magazines, science and art texts.

  • Screening of films of high social, political and economic content, exploited through cinelogy (an Ontopsychological instrument for intervention) used to expose the participants' unconscious individually and collectively to the formative course, so as to make them conscious of themselves and thus bringing about the evolution of the operative leader.

  • Organizing artistic and theatrical performances, which specifically refer to the "Psychothea" (an Ontopsychological instrument for intervention); by exploiting the theatrical performance, it evidences the actors' mimo-dramatic revelations of their intrapsychical behaviour according to the drives of their subliminal levels of consciousness.

  • Divulgation, by all possible media, of what has been scientifically carried out in the individual's personal field of study and research. The Association releases certificates and diplomas at the end of the various specialization courses; each having specific regulations, and open to graduate level students. Furthermore, the diploma is an essential requisite to gain the "status" of Ordinary Member.

Admission

To be a member of the International Ontopsychology Association, it is necessary to:

  • be over 18;
  • have a degree or similar title;
  • have general knowledge of Ontopsychology.

A written request to the Council is necessary to be admitted to the Association. Once the Council has made its decision, a written notification will be sent to the applicant.

Premises

Presently, Ontopsychology operates in many countries all over the world. It is coordinated by several autonomous national centres in cultural and scientific collaboration with the International Ontopsychology Association. The national Associations work according to their needs and the degree of preparation of the hosting countries.

Each national centre has a President and operative staff to coordinate the Ontopsychological centres in the area. Besides organizing activities relating to the Ontopsychological method, the national Associations and the local centres promote cultural initiatives, training courses, stages, conferences, etc.

Request information on the national and international headquarters of the Association.
