Saturday, 8 May, AIO attended th 9th World Congress on Psychomotricity (Verona, Italy - Palazzo della Gran Guardia, 6-9 May 2010). The Congress, focused on "The Intelligences of the body. Psychomotricity for the psychic well-being", was attended by 400 participants, 90 reports - organized into to 20 sessions in 5 official languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese) - were presented and 20 workshops were active.

The first part of the report "From visceral perception to psycho-corporeal health" (Neuroscience, Psychology and Psychomotricity commission) was related by Dr. Marina Capasso, physician, who described the advanced scientific contribution by Ontopsychology in the matter of priority of the visceral brain on the cerebral one: a process described 30 years ago, being only briefly suggested by Neurogastroenterology today; Dr. Maria Rita Scattone, speech therapist, followed up describing Melholistics as a psycho-physical technique and an intervention tool aiming at re-establishing the contact of the person with his own visceral intelligence, with specific attention to melholist as a key-role figure.
